High Impact Church

Main Teaching Theme - New Year 2009

It’s an amazing story that begins with a group of bewildered followers who started to pray.  Within ten days, thousands, literally thousands, are coming to faith – over a hundred each day.  A whole city is stirred, emergency councils are called and incredible power is seen.   Above all, individual lives are changed and the new radical community is recognised as something truly “awesome” by everyone.  In the face of intense opposition and cruel persecution churches continued to be planted, and this new visible kingdom continued to expand crossing every border of culture and race. 

Please join us week by week to be inspired, challenged and provoked as we explore the first few chapters of the book of Acts together.   Could Burlington cause a stir?  Could we live as radically at the early church did?  Could we see people coming to faith in great numbers?  Do we believe that God can do in us what He did with those first disciples?  Could we too be a High Impact Church?
