Starlight

Teaching Series: Christmas 2018

The Magi asked “Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him”
Psalm 19:1 For the director of music. A psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

All are welcome to join the Burlington family this Christmas as we travel the journey of the Wise men (Magi) to find the King. Through our Christmas celebrations we will be sharing in the story of the Magi and travelling to the stable to see why even the stars led the way to Jesus. It takes someone special being born for the whole skies to announce his birth!

Each of our gatherings over the Christmas period will involve a time of community (such as our community breakfast - Sign up here if you would like to come ….) as well as a time of celebration. All celebrations will be family friendly so why not bring your children and your Christmas visitors to celebrate together.

Watch out for members of our church and the other churches from the area in our Carol Singing evening on the 18th December. We are also thrilled to be joined by members of the Ipswich School Music department for our hugely popular Carols by Candlelight at 4.30pm on 23rd December.

Alone this Christmas or have no where to go? Then we’d love to invite you to our Open Door Christmas lunch on 25th December. Doors open at 11 in the Burlington Church halls, Burlington Road. Just turn up for this amazing feast.

The Burlington Family look forward to you joining us to celebrate together this Christmas.
